NAME • Anna Claire Evans (nee Trent) NICKNAME • -- GENDER • Female AGE • Twenty-five BIRTHDAY • April 17th ETHNICITY • American SEXUAL ORIENTATION • Heterosexual OCCUPATION(S) • She is in college to become a chef APPEARANCE • Anna has been jogging around and exercising since she turned fourteen years old. And before that she had been on the soccer travel team for about six years or so, so she’s very athletic but then again she has some curves which gets her attention. Anna’s eyes are a dark chocolately colour. No, they don’t change colour. The shade will change when she looks up at the sun compared to looking somewhere dark. Anna used have her hair short, and blond. But now it is brown and long. She likes it wavy the most, and it’s the easiest to style that way. All she does is blow dry her hair and then put some hairspray in it. It’s that simple. Sure, if she’s dressing up a bit nicer than she’ll straighten her hair or curl it with her curling iron. Sometimes she will come up with different styles too. Instead of having it straight and down she might tie up half of her hair or something… or she might make her hair in soft curls or in very tight curls. Her hair is very willing, so the options are endless. She likes to kind of keep up with the fashion trends, especially when she gets a new pay check. She either spends the money on clothes or on her car. Sometimes she wears skinny jeans, but she prefers to wear the flared jean kind. For tops? There’s not limit - she wears layered ones, summery ones and tight fitting ones. Her body doesn’t limit her - she is fit and happy with how she looks so she doesn’t hide behind baggy clothes. Anna has never been worried about what she wore, she just shops around until she finds something that she knows she’ll like and make sure that it’s comfy. She doesn’t buy things just for the sake of them being “in”.
Anna went through a period of rebelling against her rich, stuck-up parents. That’s when she got her hair cropped short and dyed a bright blond. That had sent her mother reeling in the other direction. Then just when everyone had gotten used to that look, Anna dyed her hair brown and started to get into piercings. She got her ears pierced and then (to her mother’s horror) her belly button. She was tempted to get her nose pierced, but one of her friends convinced her that her belly button being pierced would piss her mom off more. And her friend was right. Anna had been grounded for a few weeks, and was told to take out the piercings. Of course Anna didn’t, she just grew her hair longer to cover up her ear piercings and made sure that when she went swimming she didn’t go with her mom around. Anna got a little tattoo done on the inside of her left ankle, a bunch of swirls done in black lines. It represents anger to her - and it’s on the same ankle that she broke when she was six years old.
Over the past few years, Anna's appearance has changed. When she was abducted, she didn't have access to proper nutrition or food, so her body became very tired looking. She lost a lot of weight and the shine from her hair disappeared. She began to form dark circles beneath her eyes. Since she escaped and returned home, Anna has had to do a lot of TLC on her body. She has scars all over the place from the men using knives and cigarettes on her body. But she is slowly filling out a bit more - instead of her ribs poking out as well as her hip bones. The shine is returning to her dark brown hair. The dark circles of stress under her eyes are fading, and she is looking all around much more healthy now. Of course she has scars that will be with her for the rest of her life, especially one large one on her back - but the are signs of a great monumental moment in her life. They are signs that she has strength to overcome something that most people would give up from. As much as she hates seeing the scars, they give her a sense of accomplishment, because she escaped from there.
FACE CLAIM • Jessica Alba PERSONALITY • Anna is a very strong girl. She has no problem with doing something on her own, she has been known to get a lot of things done without the help of friends. I’m not saying that Anna is anti-social, but she doesn’t need to have friends with her to get things done. Anna has been called independent by many people who know her well. Anna has been this way all through high school- and even part of grade school. She never worried about what people thought of her, or even considered what people were thinking when they saw her. She did want she wanted to do and that was that. Anna doesn’t get dependent upon anybody- even if she has a boyfriend. Sometimes she has been told that she’s cold and distant, but Anna likes to protect her heart. Not only that, but Anna has always lived a certain way- and when someone lives with her, she doesn’t really change how she does things. Getting dependent upon somebody is a sign of being weak- in Anna’s eyes. Not only that, but if something were to happen, which usually does, and they separate- Anna doesn’t ever want to be the girl that falls apart. She wants to continue going on her strong streak, she doesn’t want to seem vulnerable or helpless. Now, Anna got to be this way when her parents started to ignore her and not treat her like their daughter. Maybe that’s because they had three other children to tend to- but Anna always had that feeling that she wasn’t getting the attention she deserved. So, she protected her heart by becoming independent and almost distant in her interactions with her family. And when it became very easy to act this way, Anna continued to live this way- even though she has been away from her family for years now. The only thing that Anna has ever gone through, that tested her strength, was this past year. When she was taken away from her family, and had horrible things done to her, she felt her strength disappearing. She found herself wanting to die, which has never happened to Anna. But, near the end of the year, Anna suddenly got a burst of strength, maybe it was her last try she could manage before scumming to the horrible things around her.
Anna can be very outgoing when she is around her close friends. Even when Anna is meeting new people, she has no problem with having a conversation that is filled with words instead of those awkward silences. But this is how Anna has always been. Maybe it was because of the fact that she had three other siblings that all tried to get their parent’s attention. Of course, after trying for a few years or so to get her parents’ attention, Anna started to realize that no matter how hard she tried- she would never be as good as her younger sister, Jane. Jane is one of those goody- goody girls, and no matter how hard any of the other siblings tried, they would not be as good Jane was, in their parents’ eyes. So, Anna seemingly stuck to the way of being outgoing, but not to get attention. Anna finds it frustrating when she meets new people and they are quiet and shy. Sure, people tend to open up once you get to know them, but those painfully shy people? Well… let’s just say that those specific conversations will end rather quickly, depending on how Anna’s day is going. She won’t be terribly rude about it, but it is easy to get out of conversations that she doesn’t want to partake in. Other times that Anna is outgoing are, obviously when she has been drinking. This can happen often enough, although she will never drink on the job. She has see too many bartenders, over the years, drink too much while they are working and end up getting fired for it. So, all in all Anna knows how to be outgoing without going over the limits and annoying people. She is very careful to not annoy people- because she doesn’t like it when people annoy her.
Even though Anna is considerate of other people, maybe even more so than she ought to be, there is a side to her- a much more determined and stubborn side. Anna used to try to keep it under control, but now she just doesn’t care if she gets into an argument with someone else. Alright, so she’s not going to argue about something stupid, but if she has a good point, then she will argue to the very end- when the other person usually just gives up to shut Anna up. Sure, she will annoy many people with this stubborn streak of hers- but there’s nothing she can do about it. Before she became a teenager, Anna didn’t have much of an attitude or a stubborn side. But, when Anna’s attitude developed through the teenage years, she developed this stubborn side and it just sort of stuck. Truth be told, Anna doesn’t really want to get rid of her stubborn side- she likes arguing, as long as she has a good point to prove. Or if the argument is about something important- like women’s rights or something like that. Needless to say, Anna enjoys her classes in school when they have debates going on. Especially back in high school, Anna really enjoyed getting into arguments and proving her teachers wrong. There was just something satisfying in the disbelief that was written all over her teachers’ face when she proved him wrong time after time. So, all you need to do is make sure that you are in a mood for a good fight- if you are willing to pick one with Anna. Even though she seems like the sweet little ballerina, she can hold her own in a fight. Anna tried to fight off the horrible men, as they came one after the other, but she wasn't as strong as they were- which broke her down probably the quickest, was the fact that she couldn't fight back- no matter how hard she tried.
Anna is a very caring sort of girl. She cares for the things in life that mean the most to her- like the family she created with Kaze, for example. She also cares about her older sister- Janelle, because Janelle was Anna’s only sibling that really ever cared about what she had to say or what she thought. If someone shows that they actually care about her, Anna doesn’t find it hard to care about someone else, not in the slightest. But it’s when she gets hurt, then it’s hard for her to really care about the person afterwards. Even though Anna has been let down many times, she doesn’t find it hard to trust someone- although she doesn’t immediately trust someone, it takes her a little while but not as long as some people that she has known. If you are lucky enough to get into Anna’s life, she won’t let you down. Anna is one of those good friends that you can depend on for anything. She never gossips behind people’s backs, and she will keep your secret until the day that she dies- if she really has to. Now, she does consider the situation, and if someone needs to know something very important, then she will break the promise. But- that’s only happened twice in her lifetime and Anna hopes that it will never happen again. She hates awkward situations like that, where she is trapped in the middle between two good friends. Anna still cares about and loves her family, which is probably the one thing that managed to keep her going through this horrible year. If she didn't have such a wonderful family, then Anna probably wouldn't have been able to make it, but the love she knew she had back home, got her through her toughest days.
Anna is a very calm and easy going type of girl. She doesn’t get too stressed out about anything, unless she is going through exams in school. But in situations where most people loose their coolness, Anna never notices a change in herself. She can remain quite level-headed in situations that usually would call for some panic attacks in other people. There have been a few situations where Anna’s level-headedness has come handy. Both incidents occurred in France, where Anna's mother had been determined to stay and raise the kids there. Anna had to help out her younger sister because she had gotten trapped between a heavy cardboard moving box, and the wall- just before they were going to leave the house. Anna had been the only one left, besides her sister- and she had to be very calm to focus on pushing the box out of the way, as she saw her sisters’ face turn blue as she started to suffocate. Instead of freaking out and trying to get someone else to fix the problem, Anna remained calm and managed to free her sister. The other time that Anna managed to keep a clear head, was when her older sister had gotten shot in the leg- when they had been walking home from one of the clubs. Anna had managed to get her sister to the hospital, without freaking out and she actually managed to calm Janelle down. Situations like those, where other people loose their minds- Anna manages to stay calm, and she has no idea why. Maybe it has to do with the fact that growing up, the Trent household was never quiet and relaxed, especially with four young kids running around. Of course since she got back from Mexico, Anna has changed slightly. She is a bit more uptight than before, but she is slowly going back to her old ways.
LIKES • kaze - her husband, emily - her daughter, zack - her son, sex, reading, her schooling, interacting with people, dancing, listening to music, being on her own/independent, being outside, drinking, partying, spending time with friends, shopping for clothes or food, flowers, her new hair colour - brown, being active, jogging around town, the smell of vanilla, chocolate, cooking food, her laptop, a wide range of movies, horses, playing online games, writing in her diary, going to the library, watching YouTube videos to pass the time, swimming, coffee, laughing, strawberries, rap music, marshmallows, hamsters, feeling loved, personal hygiene, tattoos and piercings
DISLIKES • being abducted, horrible men who have sick and twisted minds, snakes, spiders, rude people, raspberries, country music, cats, really hot weather, her phone (when it doesn't work), her parents, her older brother, death, the colour pink, men who are too eager to get into her pants, people who are fake, her cousins, broccoli, moving around a lot, foreign cars, and people who don't mind their own business
SECRETS • Anna would like to write a book one day. Anna was abducted away from her family for a year, and was tortured and raped (although she told Kaze this - nobody else will ever know). Anna contemplated suicide for that year she was gone and for a year when she was back as well. Anna had been pregnant with a third child of Kaze's when she had been abducted, and the awful men had forced her to have an abortion. Anna's father died in her arms.
FEARS • Getting taken away from her family again, the men who tortured/raped her, spiders, and the dark
WEAKNESSES • Kaze, Emily, Zack, piercings, tattoos, good friends, chocolate, alcohol and good food
STRENGTHS • Cooking, reading, laughing, her fashion sense, staying strong no matter what, finding her way back home, and staying alive HISTORY • Anna was born in Florida, on April 17th. She was the second child her parents had, and definitely not the last. After Anna, her sister Melissa was born two years later and then three years after Melissa was born, Jane was born. Anna has one older sibling; Kyle; her older brother. Even though she has a large family, and both parents around, Anna doesn’t get along with any of them. Except for Jane. Jane is more like Anna was growing up. Melissa and Kyle are the goody two-shoes of the family. They never do anything wrong and that sends Anna off the wall. She barely speaks to them, Kyle who has moved out of the house last year, often sends Anna long, pointless e-mails basically wondering if she had grown up yet or not. He didn’t like how immature she was, and neither does Melissa. Anna moved away from home when she could… which was when she turned sixteen. Of course, her parents sent her money to survive on, and her brother Kyle kept the family updated with e-mails between him and Anna.
They family as move many, many times. Anna has been to six different grade schools and two different high schools. She can still remember what it felt like to graduate from high school, and experience freedom. Anna’s family on the outside looks pretty perfect. And that’s just how her parents want it too be. Her mother is a stay at home, after being a lawyer for quite some time. Her father is a doctor, but he is spending more and more time at home. They have a maid that comes and makes the beds, and does all the laundry. Anna’s mom is trying to get more involved in her daughter’s lives - much to Anna and Jane’s disgust. See, Amy is quite suffocating when she is mothering her children because her mother was the same way. So, it isn’t really Amy’s fault… not all of it anyways. Amy’s mother makes up for the lack of fathering Joe provides.
The family has a dog that comes with them wherever they move. It is some stupid little thing, Anna doesn’t like how small the dog is and thinks that it’s pointless to have such a small dog. They used to have a Doberman but it had gone a little cookoo and had attacked Amy’s purses. Each and everyone of them. You might not think that that’s too bad; but he would only attack them when she was wearing them and they were full of stuff to rip apart. Anna had a lot of fun with that dog, his name had been Jake. He lived with the family for a long time, until finally, Joe had found someone who’d buy him with cash. Anna didn’t understand why they had had to sell the dog; but she didn’t care. She had just bought her own Doberman puppy and was so excited about it. She hoped that he would find something of her mother’s to destroy. Right now though, he was having too much fun ripping apart Kleenexes in Anna’s room, throwing them all over the place. Max comes with Anna wherever she goes, except when she is working at her job. She wants him to be safe, and he is a better guard dog than anything.
Anna’s father passed away three years ago. She had gotten the horrible phone call and had rushed to her family’s home. She hadn’t been able to tell any of her old friends why she was leaving… just one day they woke up and poof! Anna was gone. Sure, if Anna had been more prepared she would have told her friends at least that she was out visiting her family. So, anyways, she found out that her father was diagnosed with cancer and he didn’t have very long. It had been rapidly getting larger, but he’d just refused the signs, deny the fact that he could ever have cancer. Her father ended up dying in her own arms, something that she hasn’t shared with anyone. She moved away from her home, going back here, to get away from her broken family. She hasn’t gotten any closure from her father’s death.
Two years ago, Anna had been in Mexico. Not willingly, she was ripped away from her family. She had no way of telling Kaze where she was, or to get help from anybody. She had been out jogging with Max, and had thought nothing of the day. It was a beautiful day out, and she didn't have that bad feeling in her gut at all. She had been working on her physical shape, because two kids tended to change it. Anna had managed to loose her baby weight, and now she was just toning up, getting into better shape. She had brought a cell phone, but of course, the man who took her away got rid of the cell phone before he got rid of Max, who is still missing. Anna has a horrible feeling when she thinks about that dog, but all she can hope for is that he was left in Southern Comfort and someone took him to the human society. But, Anna hasn't really had anytime to go check because she has just gotten back to Southern Comfort. She managed to escape, when the guy who had last raped her, left the room and another was coming in. Anna had lost so much weight that she was able to squeeze out through a window that she broke. The guy who was coming in to have his fun, was just open up the door when Anna managed to crawl out. It took her about three days or so to get out of Mexico and back to Southern Comfort, where she bummed a bunch of rides off of people. Anna doesn't want to talk about what happened, because in her mind, human beings shouldn't be capable of doing such horrible things. She was tortured and raped repeatedly, to the point where she was able to just shut down- to block out the horrible things she was feeling and seeing.
Anna hid out in a motel for about a year or so before she finally had the courage to go and seek out Kaze and talk to him. It was stupid of her, really, to avoid him like that but she just couldn't face him right away. Not only did she look like hell, but she had found something in his house that had caused her to freak out. Anna had come across some divorce papers that had been on his kitchen table, when she had snuck over to grab some clothes one day. Anna being the paranoid self that she was, just grabbed her clothes from his place from time to time. She couldn't get that image of the divorce papers out of her mind, which is what caused her to delay returning back home. One day she got caught taking her clothes and she had to face Kaze and tell him all of it - everything that had happened to her for the past two years. Now she is back living with her family, and they are slowly working things out. Anna loves Kaze and her kids - more than anything else in the world - and she is grateful that they took her back into their lives. Anna is slowly becoming more normal now, back to her usual self. She will never tell her kids about what happened to her, for it is too horrific for them to know about. RELATIONSHIP STATUS • Married - but it's complicated - to Kaze Evans PARENTS • Joe Trent - father - fifty-one - deceased Amy Trent - mother - forty-eight SIBLINGS • Kyle Trent - older brother - twenty-eight Melissa Trent - younger sister - twenty-one Jane Trent - younger sister - eighteen CHILDREN • Emily Evans - daughter Zack Evans - son PETS • Anna would love to get another family dog, but she isn't sure about it. OTHER INFORMATION • Despite everything that life has thrown her way, Anna is a sweet woman and a great mother.
